This sweet 1958 Travelall belongs to Bob Marak.  His dad bought it new in 58.  They did all the driving vacations, scouting trips, and neighborhood kid excursions in it.  When his dad passed on a few years ago, he just couldn't let it go so he started restoring it. It has a 264 six with a three speed automatic, Power-lok differential, portable water tank for drinking water ( you pressured the tank with bicycle pump). They still have the original AM radio (with the Civil Defense channels marked on the display) which is operable. The air conditioning unit is not operational at this time but Bob has all the parts. That is one sweet rig!
This old truck belonged to Kurt Clark, this is his story:

I thought you might like to have a picture of my `58 A100.  It was actually titled as a `59, so all along I thought it was from that year.  I only discovered a few years ago that it was older than `59.  Boy, a lot I know....
I bought this truck in Pullman WA in 1989 for $350 at a local motorcycle dealer.  Someone had traded it on a Honda four-wheeler.  I rebuilt the master cylinder, replaced the kingpins, put the tires and wheels on, and drove it everywhere.  The 240ci six and 4-speed got great mileage.  Eastern Washington has a very mild climate, so the truck was mostly rust free.  This picture was taken during the summer of 1990, just west of the Idaho/Washington border.
In 1991 I was hauling a load of firewood over Snoqualmie Pass on Interstate 90 when my axle housing snapped.  I had it towed into the next town with a service station, and the only repair they could offer was a mid-sixties Dodge rearend retrofit for $600.  I couldn't afford it, and had to scrap the truck.  Got $75 for it because it had the tires and wheels.  I still miss the old thing!
