It was a '66 half-cab 800, 4x4 152 w/ Meyer snow plow. I bought it from a neighboring farmer's widow. Her husband used the truck for farming. I had to clean hay out of the engine compartment when I got it. It's been thru a few paint jobs, a rear axle from a '67 2x4, a 2" lift, a few transmission rebuilds, new seats, etc. Engine and body are all original. People always laugh at the individual vacuum wiper controls. Especially, cause one of them has a leak, and I have to let off the gas for the wiper to go the other direction! I'm proud to say that I still have the truck, 23 yrs later! I drive it to work a couple days a week, just for fun! I love the looks I get (or the truck gets!) when it's on the road. And most everyone has a story about a Scout. See you at the International Scout and Light Truck show this fall.
